MD Please meet David Merrell, MD, board certified family medicine physician and primary medical provider at Carolina Medical Group. Dr. Merrell completed his residency in 2015, and worked as part of the Cone medical system in the emergency room, urgent care, and as a hospitalist physician, caring for patients admitted to the hospital. He also worked for several years at Syngenta as the regional health physician, providing medical care to their employees and assisting with health policy throughout North America. |

RN, BSN Meet Jen Golinski, RN, BSN, nurse and practice manager at Carolina Medical Group. Day to day, you’ll find Jen getting patients settled in and taking their vital signs, drawing blood and administering medications, and also assisting Dr. Merrell with general patient care. She also helps coordinate care through referrals, handles med refills, and particularly enjoys educating patients and following up with them to ensure they’re choosing the best plan of action for their own health and well being. |

Receptionist This is Darcy Martin, front desk associate at Carolina Medical Group. She is the person you’ll speak with first, either on the phone or in person, because she registers new patients, schedules appointments, and lots of other administrative things to ensure your visits go smoothly and that you’re well taken care of before, during, and after your visit. |
